Ncandu Vet Clinic is a trusted small animal veterinary practice with more than 35 years of experience. We specialize in comprehensive healthcare for companion animals, including dogs and cats, while also offering basic care for exotic pets.

Founded in 1987 by Dr. Barry Rafferty, the clinic was Newcastle’s first dedicated animal healthcare facility. Dr. Rafferty served as the town’s sole veterinarian for over 35 years, providing exceptional care to local animals. Following his retirement, ownership of the clinic was placed in the trusted hands of Dr. Ashlin Valan and Dr. Chandini Seejarim. Since 2022, Drs. Valan and Seejarim have continued Ncandu Vet’s legacy by providing exceptional healthcare services to both farm animals and companion animals.
